Uses
Cilacar is used as a treatment for hypertensive patients at risk of vacular damage. It works by inhibiting angiotensin receptors and is a calcium channel blocker which will help you control your hypertension (high blood pressure).

Dosage and administration
Consult your doctor to discuss the correct dosage for you. Dosage is dependent on many factors such as your weight, age, general health, as well as any other medicines you are already taking and your progress.

Tablets should be swallowed whole, alongside a full glass of water.

For best results try to take the tablet(s) at the same time(s) each day to keep as consistent a level of the medication in your system as possible.

Side effects
The most commonly reported side effects are listed below. Inform your doctor promptly you experience an adverse effect of any description.

• Changes in heart rate
• Nausea
• headaches
• Hypotension (low blood pressure)
• Swelling
• Edema (water retention)
• Difficulty breathing

If you suspect you have suffered an allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention. Possible side effects may include swollen limbs, face, tongue or throat, difficulty breathing, tight chest, hives, skin rashes, difficulty swallowing.

Precautions
Before you start taking Cilacar 5, be sure to inform your doctor of any of the following that apply to you.

• If you have any allergies
• If you're pregnant, planning to conceive or if you are breastfeeding
• If you take any other medication, supplements, vitamins, tobacco, alcohol, or recreational drugs
• If you have any other medical conditions or illnesses, especially those related to blood circulation, and heart, kidney, or lung problems
