Uses
Fasigyn is prescribed for female patients to help treat vaginal infections, as well as other bacterial based infections. It works by targeting protozoa, a one cell organism which is responsible for bacterial infections. When these organisms have been eliminated your body has more resources to fight infections already started.

Dosage and administration
Discuss with your doctor the most suitable dose for you. Take only as instructed by a healthcare professional.

Tablets should be swallowed whole alongside a full glass of water. Do not chew, crush, or dissolve the tablets.

For best results, dose at the same time(s) each day.

Precautions
When taking Fasigyn, avoid driving, operating dangerous machinery, and any other activities which require high levels of concentration. This medication can cause patients to become dizzy and weak, so it is essential you refrain from these activities until you know for sure how your body reacts to the medication.

Before you use Fasigyn, notify your doctor, or prescribing healthcare professional of any of the following:

• Any allergies you have
• Any other medical conditions you have, especially liver or nervous system related
• Any other medication you are taking
• If you are pregnant, trying to conceive a child, or breastfeeding
• If you smoke tobacco, or consume alcohol
