Uses
Ketorol is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) primarily used for short-term management of pain or inflammation post-surgery. It is similar to ibuprofen or naproxen in function only more effective. It works by decreasing the immune system's production of prostaglandins, which are thought to cause pain redness, fever, and inflammation.

Dosage and administration
Correct dosage will vary depending on the patient and the severity of the pain or inflammation. Always take as instructed by your doctor.

The common dosage is from 10mg to 40mg, taken for no more than 5 days. Elderly patients, or patients with poor kidney function will require smaller doses.

Your progress should be closely monitored while taking this medication.

Side effects
Always report all side effects you experience. If any persist or begin to bother you, inform your doctor as soon as possible. Side effects include:

• Nausea
• Diarrhoea
• Constipation
• Abdomen pains

• Impaired blood flow

If you suffer a hypersensitive or allergic reaction, seek immediate emergency medical attentions. Possible signs to watch out for include skin rashes, hives, swelling, and difficulty swallowing or breathing.

Precautions
Notify your doctor before you begin taking Ketorol if you suffer from kidney conditions, liver conditions, liver conditions, allergies, asthma, nasal polyps. Inform your doctor if you are taking probenecid, lithium, ACE inhibitors, blood thinners, or anticoagulants.
