Zifi

Uses
Zifi is an antibiotic medication prescribed to help treat infections which are bacterial. This includes infections located in a variety of areas, such as the ears, throat, skin, bladder, and chest. It can also be used to treat gonorrhea, a STD (sexually transmitted disease).

Dosage and administration
Always speak to your doctor for instructions regarding dosage and frequency of administration. Correct dosage will depend on the individual patient as well as the condition being treated and its severity. Use strictly as prescribed. Never self medicate or change your dose without your doctors recommendation. Never double or increase a dose if you miss a previous one.

Swallow tablets whole. Do not chew, split, or dissolve tablets in liquid.

If you are also taking antacids, do not take them within 2 hours before or after taking Zifi (Cefixime), as they can increase the risks of side effects and decrease the effectiveness of the medication.

Side effects
Common side effects include:

• Stomach discomfort or nausea
• Diarrhea
• Lack of appetite
• Vomiting
• Feeling tired, fatigue, or weak
• Dizziness
• Changes in taste
• Headaches
• Easy bleeding or bruising
• Fever symptoms
• Changes to your urination or urine
• Seizures or convulsions 

Promptly inform your doctor of any side effect you experience as an adjustment to your dosage be required to help reduce the severity of these effects.

If you have an allergic reaction to this product, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms include rashes, hives, swelling, and difficulty breathing.
