Naratrex

Uses
Naratrex (Naratriptan) is used to help migraines and acute migraine attacks as well as their symptoms. It will reduce the severity of symptoms such as nausea, light sensitivity, sound sensitivity, severe headaches and a general feeling of sickness.

Dosage and administration
Use Naratrex as advised by your doctor and do not alter any part of your prescription, as self medicating can result in serious side effects.

Swallow 1 tablet whole with plenty of water as soon as you start experiencing a migraine. Do not take tablets within less than 4 hours apart. You should normally not take more than 1 tablet each 24 hours. Speak to your doctor if you feel like you need a higher dosage.

Side effects
Contact your doctor immediately if you suffer any side effects. Common side effects ca  include:

• Vision changes
• Tingling sensations
• Unusual warmth or coolness
• Tiredness, dizziness or weakness
• An upset stomach
• Chest and/or throat tightness or painful
• Heart beat changes
• Shortness of breath or trouble breathing
• Itchiness
• Swelling

Precautions
Before using Naratrex, you should notify your doctor of

• Any allergies you have
• Any other medicine/supplement/vitamin you are using
• Any history of hypertension, angina, heart problems, diabetes, high cholesterol, obesity, coronary artery disease, and any illnesses related to the blood vessels, kidney or liver
• If you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, breastfeeding, or you are going through the menopause
• If you have any upcoming surgeries such as dental work, you should inform your surgeon or dentist as Naratrex may interact with anesthetics
